Curious find in clothes recycling bin: Who could do something like this?

The employees at this recycling plant in Germany were stunned when they saw what landed on the sorting belt.

It was a day like any other at this German recycling plant. Clothes arrived from a recycling bin in town, were deposited onto the sorting belt, and slowly made their way to the press. But a shrill sound suddenly caught all of the workers’ attention.

Rescued just in time

Following the sounds, the workers started to look through the piles of clothes headed for the press, and found…a Siamese cat!

It seems that the cat’s owner had simply thrown the poor animal into the recycling bin. Absolutely atrocious. If you can’t look after your animal anymore, there are better ways to relinquish it.

The employees at the plant gave the poor animal some food and water, and quickly called a local animal rescue. The cat was then seen by a vet, who confirmed that the animal was underweight, but otherwise in good health. As a beautiful 1.5-year-old Siamese, this kitty was sure to find a forever home in no time!

Siamese cat is luckiest of all

Unfortunately, the cat wasn’t microchipped, making it difficult to locate his previous owner.

But the most important thing is that this cat is alive and well! In fact, for the workers at the plant, this cat was a ray of hope. It’s not the first time they find animals in piles of clothes, but more often than not, the animals have already passed…

We wish the best to this very lucky kitty!
