Sarah is a medium sized female with an estimated birthdate of 05.10.16. She was rescued from a kill shelter in 2021 and was there until moving to our Essex  kennels in October 25. In Romania she has always had a calmer and sweet nature. She is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered with no known health issues.

General Information
Sarah is a friendly and interactive girl who enjoys human company and affection. She greets people warmly when they enter her kennel and has a lovely, gentle nature.

People and Handling
Sarah has shown no signs of aggression and has never bitten or growled. She enjoys fuss and attention once she feels comfortable and has been easy to handle in all situations. She can be a little unsure when her lead or harness is first put on and may briefly freeze, but she quickly relaxes and walks well once outside.

Dogs and Other Animals
Sarah currently shares her kennel with Ollie and gets along very well with him. There have been no issues with food or resource guarding, and she interacts calmly with other dogs. She doesn’t require another resident dog but would benefit from living with a confident companion to help build her confidence further.
Sarah has met cats and shown no chase behaviour.

Children
Sarah has not been formally child-tested, but given her gentle temperament, she is likely best suited to a calm home with older, respectful children aged 10 and over.

House and Kennel Behaviour
Sarah is clean in her kennel and typically holds her toilet until she is outside. She has not shown any destructive tendencies and has not displayed signs of separation anxiety. She settles well when left for short periods and can often be found relaxing on top of her crate.

Training and Confidence
Sarah walks nicely on lead and harness, though she can be slightly underconfident in new environments. She is improving daily and responds positively to calm reassurance and consistency.

Likes and Personality
Sarah enjoys gentle affection, brushing, and spending quiet time with her humans. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys but clearly values companionship and comfort.

Summary
Sarah is a sweet-natured, affectionate girl who is growing in confidence every day. She will thrive in a calm, patient home with people who can offer her reassurance and help her continue to blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.
