Jess is a 7 year old male, medium sized dog.
Jess arrived at the UK kennels OSH in June 2024. Jess was extremely shut down when he came to OSH. He would wee and poo if you came near him and he would not make eye contact with you.
Jess can be leaded however he is not very confident so he will not go far. This will need work in his new home. He will also need a secure garden with direct access to it.
Jess has shared a kennel with various dogs while at OSH. He prefers dogs which are quieter and calmer to share his kennel with.
Jess will now wait at the front of his kennel for you waiting to go out. He gets very excited by his food and will also bark now.
Jess is slowly making improvements but the kennels are a noisy environment for him. Jess needs a quite, adult only home. He could share his home with another dog following a successful meet or with a dog savvy cat. Jess’ new owners need to be aware they will seem limited progress at the kennels with meets and the progress will come once he has settled into a home.
