Three year old Freya is looking for a very special, patient and understanding forever home 🏡 
Life on the streets in Romania before being rescued by Pawprints means large sized Freya is very much a girls girl 🎀 Shy and sensitive to begin with but once settled she is the ultimate cuddle bug who won’t want to leave your side 💕

Freya is a mixed breed girl who moved over to our kennels in Cheshire in 2024, she found life in kennels tough 💔 Fortunately she was fostered after a short time where she experienced home life for the first time 🏡 With love, structure and routine Freya was able to let her guard down and enjoy relationships with various family members who were kind and respectful of her boundaries 🥰
She enjoyed a short stay in an adoptive home but unfortunately there was a change in her owners circumstances which meant Freya had to return to kennels 💔

Ideally Freya would love to live with ladies only, she finds men a bit scary If there was an extra special gentleman in the home who would have the time and commitment needed to show Freya that he was one of the “good ones” she would perhaps consider him! 😉

An ideal life for Freya would look like lots of walks and play, she’s an energetic girl with tonnes of energy and she adores playing with toys, toys and more toys! 🥎 Food is a big part of what makes Freya happy - she is very food motivated which makes training not too much of a challenge! ⭐️ She doesn’t like to share though so needs to be the only pet in the home please, with no children either 
Her foster said the following : “She is a very loving dog who thrives on human affection and attention”

With some reassurance she settles down and sleeps well overnight and she really appreciates having a safe place to call her own for when life gets too overwhelming She’d rather not be left alone during the day at the moment but it is felt that this is something that can be worked on once she is happy and settled 🥰

She is house trained and wears a collar, lead and harness with no problems 🐕 Once on her way with her person by her side offering reassurance (and the occasional treat) Freya walks very nicely She will need a little help building her confidence as she navigates her way through a new and exciting life but she promises that she is worth it! 💫

She travels well in the car and she’d really love to have a special someone in her life, a person she can learn to trust and who will spoil her with love and affection 🥰
