Meet Mitzi, Mitzi is a big beautiful girl who is still a typical bouncy, friendly puppy. She is a super affectionate girl who loves attention and would make the perfect companion once she has found her feet ans continued to grow in confidence.

Mitzi has lived with children in the home and was generally very gentle with them, she has also met lots of children out on walks but she can be boisterous and unaware of her size. She can also be cheeky and try and steal toys and balls. It is felt she would be best suited to a home with only older dog savvy children 10+ who understand her size and bouncy nature.

Mitzi has previously lived with another dog who she was generally okay with however she took time to get used to him and could be snappy if she felt overwhelmed. She has been okay with other dogs on walks but can be dominant in her play and can lunge at smaller dogs she sees. She can therefore share her home with larger dogs following sensible introductions.

Mitzi lived with cats in her foster home and mostly ignored them and walks past them, she has never shown any prey drive. She did also meet cats in Romania and was good with them. She can however chase cats on her walks. She can therefore live with dog savvy cats following slow and sensible introductions.

Mitzi accepts a collar, harness and lead. She is a large girl and can pull and is very strong so an active and strong owner would be needed for her so ensure she gets lots of long walks and enrichment. She is working on her recall and does very well when treats are involved. She gets very excited to see new people and can jump up at them so will need continued work on her manners around them.

She is toilet trained and crate trained. She has never been left alone in her current home but was previously okay and has never shown destructive behaviours. She sleeps well overnight on her bed downstairs and travels well in the car too.
