Meet Ranger, Ranger is a super friendly boy who is amazing around people. He loves to have cuddles and be close to his owner. He loves trying new food and playing however has not fully grasped two player games yet and doesn't tend to bring the ball back.

Ranger can live with dog savvy, confident children 13+ following sensible introductions who understand and respect his space and belongings.

Ranger has been around dogs while on walks, he can sometimes react to them, his owner doesn't feel this is aggression but more frustration. He can feel overwhelmed if other dogs run over and approach him quickly, Ranger was however very good with other dogs in the kennels when outside and loved to play. Ranger cannot live with dogs due to his guarding behaviours.

Ranger has seen many cats and will try to approach them however has never shown any aggression. Ranger cannot live with cats due to his guarding behaviours.

Ranger accepts a collar and lead. He can be strong on the lead and will pull so he will need continued work on this however if he has treats he does respond better. He is good when approaching traffic and asked to stop and wait however if it's too long he can begin to get bored and drift. He has been to secure fields and enjoys these. He likes to forage for black berries on walks and enjoys sniffing around his surroundings. Ranger has been very good with people and children he has seen on walks however he can sometimes lunge at bikes if they go past very fast, he loves the emergency services when they whizz past him.

Ranger is looking for an active home to keep up with his high energy levels. His owner feels he needs a home when he has enough space to roam and ideally with a garden or a very active owner. He does have a lot of energy.

Ranger is toilet trained. Ranger has shown some signs of separation Anxiety/boredom when he has been left alone for 5/6 hours, this has now been eliminated as his owner will only leave him alone for 4 hours and ensure he has long walks in between. Ranger does suffer with car sickness and the car makes him very anxious.
