❤️Meet Jorge a 2 year old large size greyhound weighing 27kg. He is currently based in Taunton and is now ready to find his forever home. Jorge is a very affectionate boy, who loves being close to his caregiver and bonds very closely with them. He enjoys playing with other dogs, doing zoomies and galloping round the fields.
🧡Jorge is a clever boy and comes to his name being called. He is housetrained and sleeps through the night. He travels well in the car and jumps in by himself with no issues, he also travels well in a horse box. He is great on the lead and enjoys adventures. He doesn’t like being held by the collar so any new home needs to be aware of that.
💛Jorge can be a little bossy at first with other dogs but he absolutely adores them and would happily play with them all day long, so would benefit from living with another dog who has a similar energetic personality to him, they also help him feel more comfortable when they are alone. He does not do well with cats so would be best suited to a cat free home. He can live with dog savvy older children though. Any new home also needs to have a fully secured high fenced garden as he can be a bit of a jumper.

🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter's expense.
