Meet Skye
Approx. 1 year old
Large sized Female - 33kg
Available for Foster or Foster with the view to Adopt
Currently in Cheshire

Meet Skye, Skye is a happy, loving and affectionate girl with the people she loves most. She is a huge puppy at heart and has a goofy nature. She loves to play with her toys an enjoy her kongs and lickimats.

Skye is reactive to new people visiting the home. Skye will need a home with minimal visitors to prevent this and her new family will need to work on this with her.

Skye did meet an Older Child while in our UK kennels who she was good with however she has not been around children since then. It is felt she would need an Adult only home.

Skye can have mixed reactions around other dogs, she has successfully lived with other dogs in the home however she is reactive to dogs outside of the home. It is felt that Skye would need another dog in her home, she can be anxious when seperated from the current resident dog. Another confident, playful dog would be best as Skye can struggle with interactions with other dogs and is very bouncy and boisterous.

Skye currently lives with cats, she can become overexcited and try to paw and chase her. She could potentially live with a confident, dog savvy cat following slow and sensible introductions.

Skye accepts a collar, harness and lead. She is very strong on the lead and does pull. She can be very reactive while on her walks especially towards other dogs or people, she has however made friends with a little dog nearby the home who she is good with.

Skye is toilet trained and crate trained. Skye does display destructive behaviours towards many items such as furniture, remotes etc. The cause of this is unknown however this is improving overtime. Skye can be left alone however needs to be in her crate to prevent destruction. She is good overnight and travels well for short trips. Skye can be reactive to people walking past the home, a home in a quiet area or with a private entrance would be best to prevent this. Skye can show guarding behaviours around high value treats such as bones with other dogs, it is best these are avoided.
