Meet Billy! Billy is a large-sized puppy who we suspect to be a Mioritic cross (probably with more Mioritic than cross). He was found on the streets as a small puppy and taken to the shelter of the lady we work with in Romania. It is a small shelter where the dogs all get lots of attention and live in small sociable groups … very much like what we do with our dogs here in Scotland.
Billy is a lovely natured dog who has been fabulous with all the other dogs he has met here and he’s very sociable with the volunteers too...he just loves to play chase and have snuggles in equal measures.
He is already crate trained and has been clean in the house all night since he arrived. He also did some lead work over in Romania and was totally unfazed by it.
He hasn’t been neutered yet, as he is too young, and we would not advise any adopter to do this until he is 18-24 months due to his anticipated adult size. He had all his relevant tests in Romania, but we will do a UK brucellosis test before he leaves us too.
If you have a Billy shaped hole in your life please com pop on to our website and complete a pre-adoption application form (https://www.savingandrehomingstrays.org).
Please note a £500 adoption fee will apply and a virtual home will be required. Thank you!
