Ollie came to us as rescue back up after seeing an appeal as he was passing between foster homes (5 different homes in 7 months) and he needed some stability.
Ollie is just the most amazing dog ever! He adores everyone from the second he meets them and is a big snuggle-bug. He just wants to share all his love and attention with everyone he meets. Ollie is known as the ‘Puppy Godfather’ as he is the first dog to greet and welcome new arrivals to the rescue to show them the ropes. He gets on well with new dogs/puppies of any age and is always ready to go make friends with them. Ollie is house, crate and lead trained and is so ready to have his own family to shower with love.
Ollie is the absolute best dog around other dogs when he is off the lead. He is quite submissive, so when he is on a lead he gets fearful and this has led to reactivity to other dogs whilst on-lead. Ollie has worked on this previously, with good progress, but would need a family who are willing to continue to work on this with him to help him get over his fear.
Ollie LOVES other dogs and would be over the moon to live in a house with another dog. Due to Ollie’s submissive nature, he would not fare well in a home with a dominant dog, but would love to live with a young and playful doggo (any size) who he could be best friends for live with! Ollie has not been cat tested and would be best in a child-free home.
As Ollie has been to-and-fro quite a lot over his short life we want to make sure this time is forever. We would therefore like him to have several meet-and-greets to make sure of this, and therefore potential adopters would ideally be placed within easy travelling distance of our rescue in Ayr, Scotland. We think he would fare better in a more rural location to help him flourish.
If you think you could be the family Ollie has been waiting patiently for, please complete a pre-adoption application form at the link below.
(Please note a homecheck and adoption donation of £500 applies).
Thank you xx
