Meet Maude! Maude is a medium-size spayed female who we suspect to be a Mioritic cross -she is identical to this breed in everything but size! She was found on the streets as a small puppy and taken to the shelter of the lady we work with in Romania. It is a small shelter where the dogs all get lots of attention and live in small sociable groups …very much like what we do with our dogs here in Scotland.
Maude is a lovely natured dog who has been fabulous with all the other dogs she has met here and she’s very sociable with the volunteers too...she just loves to play chase and have snuggles in equal measures. Maude is already spayed and has done some lead work in Romania. She has never lived inside a home, but is very clean in her kennel and we see no reason why she would not be clean in proper home too. She has had all her relevant tests in Romania, but we will do a UK brucellosis test before she leaves us too.
