Meet Bonnie!
Bonnie was found in a cemetery in Romania as a tiny baby with her 5 siblings and rescued by the lovely lady we work with out there.
Sadly the pups all caught distemper and 2 of the 6 did not survive. For some reason these little souls were overlooked by all the other rescues and as a result have spent the first year of their lives living in a stable.
When we were asked to take them, the answer was obviously yes, as despite their initial shyness these pups are just perfect!
Bonnie a lot more confident than a few of the others and is always one of the first to welcome any visitors. After a few seconds of shyness she remembers that she just loves attention and is straight in there for a fuss!
Bonnie is neutered, fully vaccinated to UK standards and, although already tested for brucellosis in Romania, will have a second UK laboratory test before being rehomed (as some UK vets will not accept the results of the Romanian test).
Bonnie is a large small or a small medium (depending on your point of view!) and would fit well into many homes.
As she has not experienced much of the outside world, she needs a family that will not rush her and will allow her to take things at her own pace - in return she will love you unconditionally for the rest of her life!
If you have a Bonnie shaped hole in your life please pop on to our website and complete a 'pre-adoption application form' (https://www.savingandrehomingstrays.org/dog-application-form)
(Please note a homecheck and adoption donation of £500 applies).
Thank you!
