Meet Teddy, Teddy is a beautiful boy looking for a new home to call his own. He loves his walks and an active home would be ideal for him to enjoy lots of adventures. He can be fearful of louder noises such as fireworks and will need some reassurance from his favourite people. He is very food driven and will do anything for a treat, this is great for training! He is a very affectionate boy who loves a cuddle and fuss however is also very independent and will often take himself off to his crate for some alone time. He isn't too bothered about toys however does love his Kong full of treats and this will keep him occupied for hours.
Teddy can share his home with dog savvy children 10+ in his new home following sensible introductions. He has been around children and always done well with them.
Teddy can share his home with another doggie companion following a successful meet. He can be a little nervous around certain dogs at first however warms up very quickly and finds his confidence around other dogs. He would love to have a doggie companion or family dogs to fun around and have fun with.
Teddy can share his home with a dog savvy cat following sensible introductions. He has previously been around cats with no issues however can chase them on walks.
Teddy accepts a collar, harness and lead. He very much enjoys his walks and walks very well on the lead without pulling. He will happily walk past people with no issues as long as they don't suddenly approach him and is very excited to play and interact with other dogs. He can become easily distracted so is always kept on the lead due to this. On a very rare occasion he can become overstimulated on walks causing him to be reactive however this is very well managed.
Teddy can be nervous with new people entering his home which can make him intially reactive, he can take some time to warm up to new people however will except new friends with slow introductions. Once he has learnt to trust you he will love you forever.
Teddy is toilet trained and crate trained. He has never been destructive within the home and can be left alone for up to 5 hours with no issues. He also sleeps well overnight and travels very well in the car.
