Meet Ronnie, Ronnie is a truly lovely dog, he isn’t a shadow, but just knowing a human is in the house keeps him settled. He is very soft mouthed and takes treats very gently, no teeth or snatching – his favourite treats are Harringtons Salmon Bites, squeezy cheese and if you need to get tablets down him, dairy lea works really well.
Ronnie can be nervous of strangers however he does warm up very quickly. Once he has gotten to know someone he is very friendly and loves their company.
Ronnie accepts a collar, Harness and lead. He walks very well on the lead and does not pull. He absolutely loves his walks, especially hilly woodland, he normally stays quite close when off lead and enjoys his sniffs and runs, he also loves going with his family when they go Mountain Biking. Ronnie does well in town and loves going to the local café where he gets a treat, he is great in all dog friendly shops and usually settles down fast, even when you are browsing!
Ronnie has never been around children in his current home however he has seen them on walks and been good with them, for this reason he can share his home with children 12+ following sensible introductions.
Ronnie currently shares his home with another dog who he is very good with. They love to play however he does also like his own space. He can often cuddle up with him. He is generally good when he meets other dogs however he can be a bit scared of bigger dogs. Ronnie can share his home with another dog following sensible introductions.
Ronnie has been around cats and is very good with them, Ronnie is not prey driven and will ignore most things, apart from Rabbits. He can therefore live with cats.
Ronnie is toilet trained and sleeps well overnight. He is not crate trained. Ronnie suffers with seperation anxiety and will need a home with someone around during the day. Ronnie sleeps amazing overnight and travels well in the car.
