Wifi: male puppy to adopt

Wifi is currently in foster care in Spain. He's ready to travel to his home in the UK as soon as he finds his family!

Wifi is a 4-month-old male Cross Breed. We don’t know the parents but from his look he seems to be a Griffon Cross. He will be of medium size when fully grown, but as we don’t know the parents, we also aren’t able to guarantee this to 100%. So, his future home shouldn’t have a problem if he, as an adult, grows more or weights more than expected. His future home should also be happy and able to manage a larger dog.

Wifi came to us after entering the pound in Northern Spain where we are volunteers. Puppies in the pound are at high risk to become ill or even to die if we don’t get them out of there immediately, but this boy has been very lucky and a foster in Spain came forward just in time.

His foster is doing a great job with him and he is now ready to find his own forever home. Wifi has the typical loving, friendly nature of a puppy. He is curious, affectionate, likes to do mischief and loves the interaction with other dog. Wifi is learning about the rules of a home each day practising walking on a lead, housetraining and basic manners.

His new family will need to understand that this is a long, ongoing process of patient training, as Wifi is a baby who needs to be taught everything about life. He is sharing his foster home with further dogs and they are fantastic with each other. He likes to be around other dogs and the attention from people, and he will need a family ready to help him learn he is ok on his own, preparing him for these moments with exercise and toys.

Do you feel Wifi could be the one for you? If so, please read our full criteria below. For Wifi, we are looking for middle aged person or couple. where someone is around most of the day. Wifi needs an active family or person, who is committed with the decision of adopting a puppy and with everything that this implies. A puppy needs to be completely educated and socialized, that is why we only consider a dog experienced home (NOT first dog owners) who knows how to manage the education, training and socialization of a puppy and also has the time and patience for this.

We are looking for an adult only home or a home without young children (14+), as we want dogs who require more time like himself to be the priority. Wifi would enjoy having a further dog companion at home from who he would be able to learn. Nevertheless, this is not a requirement, if he gets enough dog interaction and time to play with other dogs on his walks or outdoor activities. Wifi hasn’t and can’t be tested with cats.

Wifi is currently in Northern Spain, but cannot wait to travel and discover his new home in Wales or England (NOT Scotland) as soon as the right family or person comes forward.
