A woman in New Zealand was just going about her day as normal when she suddenly realised that her neighbour’s cows had escaped from their paddock.
Stubborn herd
As the cows headed straight towards her home, the woman rushed out, encouraging them to move back to their paddock.
Unfortunately, her shrieking wasn’t doing much to convince the ruminants to go back to where they came from. But luckily for the startled woman, she got a little help from an unexpected source.
In her rush to get out of the house and herd the cows away, she had left her door open. And without realising it, her tiny, 2lb Pomchi (Pomeranian – Chihuahua mix), slipped outside!
Pomchi herds cows back into paddock
The owner watched in horror as her tiny dog ran straight to the herd of cows. She tried to call the dog back but to no avail. She was terrified that her pup would get trampled.
But she should’ve trusted the confident spirit of her “lapdog” a little more…Because her Pomchi wasn’t worried at all! He ran straight to the herd of cows and started rounding them up, herding them all the way back to their paddock.
The brave pooch definitely proved that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover!
