Avery’s owner, Sally Bell, from Bristol, has recently noticed that her cat has a new obsession.
An obsession with bringing home gifts.
A passion
Now, bringing home gifts isn’t new to Avery. In fact, and to Sally’s dismay, the cat used to bring home all sorts of prey such as mice, frogs, and even a magpie chick once. But her new interest is very VERY different.
Avery has recently gotten into children’s swimming goggles. For one reason or another, these objects have become the centre of Avery’s attention. So far, she has already brought home eight pairs.

And a conundrum
Sally has no idea what it is about goggles that make Avery so smitten with them. The strangest thing is that there isn’t even a pool around where they live! So presumably, Avery is going through a lot of trouble to get her little paws on these goggles.
Worried that a family in the neighbourhood is dealing with the mysterious disappearance of their swimming gear, Sally has posted Avery’s story on social media, hoping to be able to find the owner’s of her cat’s ‘gifts’. So far, no-one has come forward, but the community is more than amused with this cat’s new hobby!
