Moving house and getting used to new routines can be a stressful time for pets.
As reported by The Dodo, Danielle and her female Siberian Husky, Pandora, recently had to settle into a new neighbourhood.
While Danielle thought it would take time to build connections in their new area, her dog soon proved her wrong.
An instant friendship
It took just one walk for Pandora to make a new friend. The Husky suddenly spotted a mass of white fur behind a neighbour's garden fence. Intrigued and naturally friendly, she rushed straight over to the fence.
On the other side stood Sissy, a female Samoyed. "It was love at first sight," Danielle recalled. "They hit it off straight away."
A sweet morning routine
Now, every morning on her way to the park, Pandora bursts with excitement as she approaches Sissy's house. The two friends spend about ten minutes playing together through the fence.
For several weeks, these daily reunions took place without the owners ever crossing paths.
Danielle finally managed to get in touch with Sissy's family. She hopes to make that long-awaited moment happen very soon: letting Pandora and Sissy run and play together, this time with no fence to separate them.
