A real superstar
As he stepped out of the water, Maverick caught everyone's eye. His wet coat had dried in a rather unusual way, with his fur sticking straight up... It formed a row of little spikes all the way down his spine and on top of his head. Within seconds, the gorgeous dog looked remarkably like a mini T-Rex.
Highly amused, his owner filmed this unexpected makeover and shared the short clip on social media. The video quickly went viral on TikTok, racking up 3.5 million views, with users comparing Maverick to a little dinosaur straight out of a movie.

In the clip, Maverick doesn't seem remotely bothered by his impromptu hairdo! The sweet Golden Retriever looks completely relaxed and happy to be spending quality time with his family.
