That is exactly what happened to Jen on 20 June.
While driving down a country road, she spotted a tiny kitten abandoned right in the middle of the road.
Quick thinking
Jen immediately pulled over to help. The kitten was barely three or four weeks old. There was no sign of her mother or any littermates, and she seemed to be completely on her own.
Despite being abandoned, the kitten showed no fear when Jen approached. In fact, as soon as she saw her rescuer, she rushed towards her. It was as if she knew she was her only hope! Jen knew straight away that she couldn't leave her by the roadside. She picked her up and took her home.
A new life full of love
Jen eventually decided to adopt the kitten, naming her Junie. Since her arrival, Jen has been giving her all the care she needs. This includes syringe-feeding, baths, close monitoring and, of course, plenty of cuddles!
Thanks to this dedicated care, Junie soon began to regain her strength and grow before Jen's very eyes. The little kitten has also settled perfectly into her new home. Bernie, the family dog, has even become her adoptive big brother.
After a very difficult start in life, Junie is finally experiencing the safety, affection and comfort of a real home. We wish her many wonderful adventures with her new family!
