A special bond
The 11-stone Newfoundland loves spending time with her. Above all, he knows he'll always be spoiled by her, so he never misses a chance to be with her. For example, on 3rd April, his gran was planting flowers in her garden, and of course, Chewy was right by her side.
So, his gran asked him to help with the gardening. In the video below, you can see her asking the dog to dig in a specific spot under the tree, and Chewy gets straight to work. He immediately starts digging the perfect hole for his gran to plant her flowers.
Going viral
In the end, the pair had a lovely gardening session, and the result under the tree is beautiful. In fact, their gardening session charmed internet users so much that the video went viral, reaching over 11.8 million viewers worldwide.
And that's not all! Chewy and his gran even appeared on national television, which was a very moving experience for the whole family. For his gran, Chewy is her ”great-grand-dog,” as she affectionately calls him. What a wonderful bond they share!
