A passer-by raised the alarm on 19th October.
As she was walking down a street in the city, she heard meowing coming from a nearby car.
Trapped in the engine
She instinctively called the police to report what she had found. The officers then contacted a local rescue centre to help the kitten.
When they arrived, rescuers discovered a tiny two-month-old kitten. The poor little thing had crawled into the car's engine, probably to keep warm. Unfortunately, he was then unable to get himself out again.
A happy ending
Thankfully, his cries for help were heard and he was saved. The little chap seemed unharmed once he was out of the engine. The rescuers took him to a veterinary clinic for a health check.
And in a wonderful turn of events, the car's owner was told about the rescue. He decided to adopt the little kitten once he had received any necessary veterinary care. So this kitten has gone from a dangerous makeshift shelter to the comfort of a cosy and safe home!
