A shocking discovery
Her ex had fallen on hard times and had left Banjo at a shelter. Sarah discovered the situation online when she saw an advert for Banjo from a local rescue. It was a terrible shock for her. However, she knew immediately what she had to do.
Sarah drove for eight hours from her new home in Colorado, USA, to pick up Banjo from the Animal Friends Alliance shelter. She explained the situation to the rescuers, telling them that Banjo was her dog. When the staff went to get Banjo, they were stunned by what happened next...
An emotional reunion
The moment he saw his mum, Banjo went absolutely wild! He was overcome with joy, jumping all over the place and showering her with cuddles, bursting with excitement. His happiness was so moving to watch. The rescuers had never seen this side of Banjo before, and they laughed and cried at the same time during the heartwarming reunion.
Then, Banjo and his mum began their journey home. Since Banjo has been back, his tail hasn't stopped wagging. He is so happy to be reunited with his forever human, and we are so relieved for him!
