Talk about being as stubborn as a mule. A video posted on Instagram at the end of January introduces us to Ceili, an 11-year-old Shih Tzu who knows exactly what she wants in life.
In the clip, the little dog adamantly refuses to eat her food, despite her owners' best efforts.
Her owner patiently tries to offer her some food with a tablet hidden inside to treat her upset stomach. Ceili sniffs her meal and then turns her head away.
The magic word
Seeing that he's getting nowhere, Ceili's owner decides to step things up a gear by mentioning THE word that will make her change her mind. That word is "the vet".
Instantly, Ceili has a change of heart and finally agrees to eat. Behind this funny and charming scene, her owner explained that Ceili had been sick twice earlier that day. They wanted to make sure she could keep down a light meal before going back to her normal diet. After this little performance, the dog's appetite was back to normal the very next day.
