A shocking discovery
However, the rescuer had a sudden doubt and rushed to open the box. That's when he made a shocking discovery: it was filled with puppies. The person who abandoned them outside the shelter hadn't taken the time to speak to staff and explain the situation.
The team felt frustrated that they couldn't provide the best possible care without knowing the puppies' background. However, they were incredibly grateful to have found them in time, before any harm could come to them inside the box.
A fresh start
Fortunately, all four puppies were rescued just in time. They have been examined and are doing very well, despite their ordeal.
The shelter announced on its Facebook page that adoption applications are now open for the four little ones. We hope they find their forever homes very soon.
