Anna was looking through old photos on her phone with her daughter when she came across an unexpected video.
In the footage, her little girl could be seen playfully trying to groom Poppy, the family's four-year-old Cavapoo.
A secret haircut
In the video, Anna's daughter announces that she's going to give Poppy a "teddy bear" cut. She starts energetically snipping away at his fur, getting very, very close to the poor dog's ears...
Anna had no idea that her daughter had decided to cut the dog's hair without permission. She was only supposed to be giving him a "spa treatment", and was definitely not meant to be touching his haircut!
A lesson learned
Since discovering the video, Anna has hidden the scissors and had a serious talk with her daughter about safety. She took the opportunity to remind her of a crucial rule: sharp tools are for grown-ups only.
