The adorable Martini is one year old. As he's still a very young dog, he has a few things to learn, especially how to be left alone.
And Bianca was about to find that out.
A note from the neighbour
When she returned home, Bianca found a pink post-it note on her flat door. Her neighbour had written to explain what Martini got up to when he was alone. Apparently, the little dog barked "non-stop"! The neighbour added that she "would appreciate her help in training Martini and finding a solution".
Bianca was quite shocked. She decided to set up a pet cam to see what her dog was really doing while she was out. The footage finally shed some light on Martini's behaviour when he was home alone...
The camera reveals all
The screenshot from the pet cam shows the little dog barking his head off. Yet, when his owner comes home and scoops him up for a cuddle, he looks like a perfect angel. You'd think butter wouldn't melt!
In the comments section, people were quick to defend the little dog, with many disagreeing with the neighbour. One user wrote: "He wasn’t even barking. He was singing, it’s obvious. The cheek of some neighbours!" while another commented: "God forbid a dog should have a hobby!"
Others shared helpful tips for Bianca, such as leaving a radio or a light on. "I put on some café jazz music from YouTube and mine love it!" one person suggested. Another added: "Try leaving a little TV on for dogs. It stops my dogs from panicking!"
