A hero named Snatch

The ski patroller and his Labrador, Snatch, managed to pinpoint the victim's exact location. Thanks to his keen sense of smell and his speed at digging, Snatch was able to find the man quickly.

A rescue in record time

Buried under 40 cm (around 16 inches) of snow, the victim was freed in just fifteen minutes. In a surprising turn of events, the rescuer discovered the victim was someone he knew. ”It’s the ultimate reward for a ski patroller to pull someone out of a rescue alive, especially when you save a friend,” he said.
