A tale of two personalities
Jack, who is three years old, is quite calm and a little anxious. He usually keeps his distance, even when following his owner around. Shae, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. At 18 months old, she's a real velcro dog and is bursting with energy!
One day, while Allison was doing some maintenance, she noticed that the container of anti-algae treatment for the pond was leaking. The product is safe for dogs, so she placed the container in a plastic bag to avoid staining her shoes. What she didn't realise was that Shae was trotting right behind her, stepping in every drop of the blue liquid that fell onto the grass...
From blue dog to muddy pup
When Allison turned around, she screamed! She was in complete shock. Shae's fur was covered in bright blue patches, while Jack, who had kept his distance as usual, was completely untouched.
Allison immediately took Shae inside to wash her, but her ordeal was far from over. The product was oil-based, so the more she scrubbed, the more the dye spread. In the end, Allison had to put Shae in the shower and shampooed her five times.
But Allison's troubles weren't over. The product had left blue stains all over her bathroom. And as soon as she was let out of the shower, Shae dashed outside and promptly rolled around in a pile of mud!
Despite the chaos, Allison couldn't be happier with her two dogs. Thanks to all the adventures they share, she never has a shortage of things to laugh about!
