There are some things our feline friends love, and others they absolutely can't stand.
For Cookie, an adorable indoor cat living with his family in the Netherlands, snow is one of those things.
A frosty first
Used to the warmth and comfort of his cosy home, he was not at all prepared to set his four little paws in the snow! When a thick blanket of snow covered the patio, Cookie's owner carried the cat outside and gently placed him down in it.
The cat was not amused. As soon as his paws touched the ground, he immediately turned around and headed straight back into the warmth of the house. He can also be seen giving himself a good shake, to get rid of every last trace of cold and snow from his fur!
Willing to try again?
In the video's caption, Cookie's owner joked: "Excuse me sir, I'm an indoor cat. Meh, not interested." But this reaction didn't put Cookie's owner off (no pun intended). In fact, other videos on the Instagram account show Cookie exploring the snow again.
Faced with this fascinating scene, viewers were quick to jump to Cookie's defence: "Nobody likes being stark naked in the snow anyway." Another added: "Views from the windowsill, please, not expeditions into the snow!" And it's true, the sight of snow can be just as enjoyable from the warmth of your own home!
