When two cats with similar pasts meet, a beautiful friendship can blossom. Atika and Pastel were taken in by the rescue organisation, Chatons Orphelins de Montréal, in Canada.
Atika was found first and was in a very poor state. The poor little thing had an upper respiratory infection and stomach problems. Thanks to a dedicated foster family, he was able to recover from his various ailments.
An instant bond
A short while later, Pastel arrived at the rescue centre. The team decided it was time to introduce the two cats.
The two quickly bonded, much to the delight of the volunteers. While Atika has a more reserved character, Pastel is more adventurous and curious.
Inseparable friends
Even though they aren't from the same litter, they have formed a very close bond. Today, they are thriving and share many wonderful moments together.
