On the 2nd of October, the cat became an international star for a very unusual reason.

The vanishing cash
It all started when Caitlyn's boyfriend was searching everywhere for his money. He had a wad of cash that he'd left at home, but he just couldn't lay his hands on it. He had no idea where it could have gone, as he was certain he had put the notes on the coffee table.
Caitlyn and her boyfriend searched every single room in the house, looking for the money that had mysteriously vanished. The search lasted for about a fortnight. They looked absolutely everywhere, and eventually, they even decided to check Mr Honey's things...
The culprit is revealed
And that's when they made an absolutely extraordinary discovery. The entire sum of money was hidden in the cat tree's cubbyhole! Mr Honey, it turned out, was a "cat burglar," as his owner affectionately nicknamed him in a TikTok video. The cheeky feline even looked away when confronted with the evidence. He feigned complete surprise when the cash was revealed in his hiding spot...
It turns out that Caitlyn's boyfriend had actually left the money on the bedside table, right next to the cat tree. The mischievous cat had simply knocked the cash off the table and into his den. On TikTok, users quickly jumped to the cat's defence, with some offering to be "his lawyer" and others asking, "Did you have a warrant?" to search his cat tree! The comments are absolutely hilarious.
