A leftover sandwich

On New Year's Eve, while trying to eat the end of a sandwich from the bin, Charlie swallowed a 1.5-inch razor blade from a disposable razor. His owners immediately suspected what had happened and contacted the emergency vet as quickly as possible.

The vets took an X-ray, which instantly confirmed his owners' fears. Charlie was then rushed into emergency surgery. Fortunately, the operation was a success, and the vet was able to remove the razor blade from the puppy's body without any difficulty.

A speedy recovery

Upon removing the razor blade, the vet discovered that the protective cap was still on it. It was a lucky escape, as things could have been much worse!

Charlie has recovered very well from his surgery. He spent one night under observation at the clinic before going home. He quickly regained his energy and cheerful spirit, much to his family's delight.
