On the 31st of October, she delivered a puppy to a family in Florida. But just a few days later, she received a heartbreaking call from the owner, who wanted to return him...
Then, on the 7th of November, she introduced Goldie, a little 10-week-old Goldendoodle puppy.
An allergy claim
Allie explained that Goldie had been returned to her because the family claimed they were allergic. According to Allie, Goldie's owner stated that she was suffering from "severe allergies".
Allie agreed to take Goldie back, as she was terrified the puppy would end up in a rescue centre. For Allie, this was a highly unusual situation. None of the families who buy her puppies usually return them, and this was the first time it had ever happened because of an allergy.
Viewers grow suspicious
On Instagram, the 75,000 people who watched the video were very suspicious. Many voiced their doubts: "Pff... Why are people so cruel! Anyway, it's probably for the best in the end, he'll be with a loving family", wrote one person. Another commented: "They always claim to have allergies when they don't want the dog, it's so sad."
Fortunately, Allie has since shared an update on the situation. As soon as the breeder posted the video, Goldie received numerous adoption offers. The little puppy has now found a new family, which has turned out to be the perfect home for him. Allie wrote in the comments that she had "learned a lot" from the experience and had carefully vetted the new family. We wish Goldie all the best!
