A mysterious mess
Several months ago, she started the year with a bang! She woke up to the sound of running water in the kitchen.
When Chérie went into the kitchen, the tap was running... And on the kitchen counter, the tin foil was missing from the chocolate cake dish.
Her cat was sitting calmly in a corner of the kitchen, completely unfazed by all the commotion.
As she got closer to her cat, Chérie noticed there were traces of chocolate in his fur.
An innocent culprit?
It was him who had eaten the missing slice of cake, as evidenced by the bite marks left behind.
And it was also the crafty feline who turned on the tap to quench his thirst afterwards... Or perhaps it was to wash his paws?

Chérie mentioned that she immediately called the vet to tell them her cat had eaten some chocolate cake.
The vet reassured her, explaining that the kitten would probably get a tummy ache, but it wasn't life-threatening.
What a little rascal! Fortunately, it was nothing serious, just a slightly disrupted morning for Chérie!
