In 2025, a passer-by discovered a tiny kitten abandoned on the side of a road. The poor little thing could barely move.
Unable to leave it in such a state, he decided to rescue the kitten and give it a chance at life.
A heartwarming show of support
The passer-by quickly contacted the 'Chatons Orphelins Montréal' rescue organisation in Canada. A volunteer named Véronique went to collect the little animal and soon noticed she was limping.
X-rays revealed that the kitten, now named Pastel, had a broken leg. To cover the cost of her treatment, Véronique reached out to her community for help. Thanks to their generosity, Pastel was able to have the surgery she needed to repair her leg.
A new beginning for Pastel
Pastel was then transferred to a foster home, where she could rest and recover from her ordeal.
Day by day, she has completely transformed. She comes running when her name is called and has made friends with the other kittens as if she's known them forever. Pastel is now ready to find a loving home for life.
