And that's how the passers-by formed a human chain to save the animal's life. After several minutes of effort, the dog was pulled to safety on dry land.
The sequence was captured by another man who was standing on the other side of the embankment.
Fortunately, the dog was quickly reunited with his owners who lived in the neighbourhood. Posted on social media, the video was praised by thousands of users.
