Staff at Pepe’s Towing Service had been feeding the frail pup, but no one had managed to catch him.
Determined to help, Tera arrived and quickly gained his trust.
Successful rescue
As she approached, the dog, despite his weakness, immediately stood up and walked to her. She slipped a lead around his neck, and he willingly followed her to safety.
After bringing him home, she offered him chicken and rice, which he devoured. A vet examination later revealed that the pup, now named Dojo, had been surviving on rocks and wires, which could require surgery.
Gentle and loving dog
Though malnourished, his bloodwork was normal, and he remained gentle and loving.
Tera shared updates on TikTok, showing his progress after his first bath. Now in the care of Love Leo Rescue, Dojo is on the path to recovery and will be available for adoption once fully healed.
Despite his struggles, Dojo’s trust in people remains unshaken. “He knows he is now safe,” Tera wrote.
Now Dojo has a second chance at a happy life.
