Benjamin Owens shares his life with his grey and white cat Cora, who goes by the nickname Coco.
Sometimes, she's loves to snuggle up for a cuddle. But when she goes into hunting mode at night, everything changes.
Causing chaos
Cora settled down to sleep at first, but around midnight "she switched into hunter mode, and must have thought my socked feet were stuffed and started playing with them", Benjamin told Newsweek.
The exasperated owner banned her from the bed, unaware that she had taken it upon herself to find a new, more relaxed snuggle buddy.
It wasn't until he got up around midnight, that Benjamin stumbled upon the most bizarre scene.
"Nothing to see here"
The clip, which has received 71,000 upvotes on Reddit shows Coco dragging a giant red plush monkey across the room.
"This is the funniest thing I've ever seen on Reddit", wrote one amused viewer.
"That's literally your cat practising murder, better keep an eye open OP", replied another.
"Wait, she was biting my ankles - was she actually trying to drag me away like this too", her owner wondered.
He then went on to explain that shortly after the video was taken, he found Coco curled up in the monkey's armpit.
