Like many dogs in rescue, Pit Bull mix Franny spent many months feeling invisible. Other dogs would come and go, but nobody ever picked her.
Thankfully, caring volunteers would take Franny on outings, helping to relieve some of the stress of life in kennels. But, despite their best efforts to keep her spirits up, the return to rescue was always upsetting for this sweet girl.
Desperate for a family
With so much love to give, Franny was clearly in desperate need of a family of her own.
“When you had a great day with the volunteer, but she brings you back to the shelter” Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley captioned the clip, which showed the brown Pit Bull mix hanging her head in sadness.
Little did she know, a wonderful surprise was in store.
Happy endings
“But it’s actually to sign the adoption papers”, they went on to share, revealing the happy ending they had planned for Franny.
It turns out that after spending time with the loveable rescue, the volunteer and her family couldn’t bring themselves to bring her back. Except for the brief time it took to sign the adoption papers!
Now she will get to enjoy lots of cuddles and love from a family of her own.
