A beautiful moment has captured the hearts of 200,000 dog lovers, after their owner shared a clip of one dog comforting the other.

It'll come as no surprise to pet parents that dogs show compassion to their own kind in much the same way they do to people.

And a recent clip shared to TikTok shows just that; a remarkable act of kindness between two Shepherds, who have developed an unbreakable bond in the face of adversity.

The love of a dog

Beans is an adorable 3-year-old German Shepherd, who sadly suffered brain damage that will affect him for the rest of his life.

Thankfully, he has a wonderful big sister, who helps reassure him when he needs a little extra support. As captured in the video, the sweet female Shepherd stands quietly next to him, gently keeping him company when he needs it most.

Shared around the world

The clip, which was shared by the doggy duo's owner Shelby to TikTok, quickly went viral.

It has now been viewed over 200,000 times, with users sharing their support.

"I swear dogs have more compassion and sense than humans", wrote one viewer.

"They know when a member of the pack is out of sorts", replied another. "They know that they need some extra attention to help them relax. Way to go!".
