Izzy and her boyfriend thought their shopping trip would be the same as any other.
But a cunning black cat clearly had other ideas, and she was waiting for them when they got home!
A sudden arrival
The little black cat seemed determined to get inside. So much so, she couldn't even be distracted by Izzy's cuddles.
Sneaking into the house, the couple didn't really know what to try next.
Never having owned a cat before, they decided to buy her some supplies, while they worked out their next move.
Making herself at home
Izzy's partner is allergic to cats, which meant the couple had never thought of adopting a feline friend.
But the new arrival stole their heart, and it wasn't long before she'd made herself at home.
They took her to the vet to check whether she had a microchip, but when nothing was found it became obvious she needed a home.
"I have a great idea... Keep her, she already loves you all", commented one viewer.
And it seems Izzy and her boyfriend did. The couple now share their lives with the surprise visitor who never left, and she has most definitely landed on all four paws!
