This might be a bit of an awkward question but my dog’s penis is always out and red...and I was wondering why that is and if it’s normal? lol

Hello! It’s normal for a dog’s penis to be red or pink, but it’s not normal for it to be out all the time. This could be a sign that there’s a problem and your dog could be feeling discomfort or even pain. If it’s left like that for too long it could cause some serious issues. I’d consult a vet ASAP. Hope you get this solved soon. Good luck!

Just wanted to let you know that following your message I took my dog to the vet’s who said he had a big infection. He’s had two injections and tomorrow he’ll start taking antibiotics for 7 days. We’ve also talked about getting him neutered as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your help!
