💙 Wilson is a very sweet, gentle older man who is looking for his retirement home 🏡 He is a lovely boy with a great smile who just wants lots of love and cuddles 🥰

Wilson is approximately 11 years old and is medium sized mixed breed 💙
He was found on the streets of Romania and taken to the public shelter in Curtea de Arges where he spent the next 9 years of his life. He was known there to be a lovely friendly boy who wanted a fuss and cuddles 🥰

Wilson made his way to the UK in June 2025 which was a huge change to the world he had always known Unfortunately he struggled in his new environment and after only a few days his family surrendered him and he moved to emergency boarding kennels 💔

While in kennels the staff have said that Wilson is on the shy side and can be a little scared when he first meets new people Therefore he is looking for a patient, understanding home who are willing to give him some time to settle in 🏡 
In return, once you gain his trust, you will be rewarded with a super sweet boy who will give you endless snuggles and love 💙
He is a very happy, gentle boy who would love a family of his own and a place to call home 🥰

Wilson is good around other dogs, so could live with calm dogs following slow, sensible introductions 🐶 
However he can not live with children or cats 👧🏻🐱 
He accepts a collar and lead but initially needs some encouragement with walks Once he gets going he enjoys a slow meander rather than anything brisk! 🐾

Wilson will need time to warm up to his new family so very slow, sensible introductions are vital and things will need to be taken at his pace He is more comfortable with women than men and tends to bond quicker with them Men can make him feel rather fearful

Wilson was said to be toilet trained and barked by the back door if he needed to be let out when he first arrived from Romania but he may need some training again after returning to kennels He is not crate trained 🐾

In his very brief time in his adoptive home Wilson was fine overnight, he usually just slept when he was alone and showed no sign of separation anxiety 🐶

He is a loving, calm and gentle old soul who has had a bad start to his new life in the UK after many years of patiently waiting 
He really deserves a loving, understanding, calm home of his own in his twilight years and he will make the perfect companion once he knows he is safe and can trust you 💙
