🐾Meet Peach! The sweetest best-friend!🐾
⭐️ADOPTIVE HOME WANTED⭐️
🐶Name: Peach
📏Size: Medium
💞Gender: Female
🕰️Age: 2-3 years old
📍Location: Wigton
❤️This gentle girl is initially a bit shy and anxious, but once she feels secure and builds a bond with her humans, she transforms into a quietly affectionate companion. She adores receiving gentle scratches, and there's nothing she loves more than curling up for sofa cuddles or snuggling beside you in bed. Peach's playful side shines through when she’s engaged with soft or crinkly toys; she may not care much for traditional balls, but she certainly finds joy in the delightful task of extracting stuffing from her plush friends!
🎾Peach’s favorite activities reflect her sweet and laid-back nature; she loves to run in open spaces, whether it's a brisk trot through the backyard or a playful sprint on a nature trail. After her adventures, there’s nothing she enjoys more than settling down in a cozy spot for a well-deserved rest.
🧠In terms of training, Peach is coming along nicely. She has mastered the basics, responding reliably to commands like "Sit," indicated by a raised finger, and "Wait," with an open palm. Peach is also crate trained, which is a big plus! She is familiar with her crate as her safe haven, heading in there during mealtime and settling down for the night without any fuss. She understands the routine and goes in on command.
🐕When it comes to her social interactions, Peach is generally a good-natured companion with other dogs. She exhibits no reactivity and is happy to greet new canine friends, occasionally enjoying a playful moment with them. However, she is also quite independent and prefers to seek her own space when she feels uncomfortable. As for cats, Peach coexists well with them—is never aggressive towards her two feline housemates but may chase if they entice her. Nevertheless, she is respectful and will back off when they indicate they want their personal space. She is good with children, but prefers a quieter and more relaxing environment, due to this she would be best suited to living with teenagers, rather than young children.
😨Despite her many wonderful qualities, Peach does have her fears. It's essential to be patient with her, as she can be uncomfortable with new experiences, especially in crowded or noisy environments. She may bark and growl at sudden knocks at the door, and when visitors arrive, she might display some anxiety through barking and lunging. However, these behaviors can be managed with consistent training and positive reinforcement methods, using treats and lead work to help her feel more secure when encountering new stimuli.
🩺Peach is a healthy girl and is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, flea & wormed & brucellosis tested.
