⭐️FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME WANTED⭐️
🐶Name: Sarge
🕰️Age: 2.5 years old
📏Size: Medium (approx. 20 kg)
💙Gender: Male
📍Location: Based in Walsall
🦮Sarge is a wonderful companion looking for his forever home! This affectionate and playful boy has a heart full of love and a spirit that’s as big as his personality. Once Sarge trusts you, he will bring endless joy to your life, even if he sometimes has moments of excitement that turn him into a little kangaroo! His sweet and loyal nature makes him a truly special dog, and any suitable family would be lucky to have him join their pack. ❤️
🎾Favourite Activities:
Sarge loves nothing more than engaging in a good game of tug of war, followed by cozy cuddles with his humans. He’s the perfect mix of fun and affection, ready to create memories filled with games and snuggles.
🚗Car Rides:
Sarge is a great travel buddy and does just fine in the car, making him the perfect companion for road trips or trips to the park.
🚽Potty Training:
Sarge is fully toilet trained, so you won’t have to worry about any accidents indoors.
🦴Basic Training:
He knows how to sit and give paw, though he prefers saving his tricks for treats and doesn't always feel the need to show them off. Sarge is crate trained, giving you peace of mind when you need to step out.
🐾Doggy Dynamics:
While Sarge can be a bit nervous around other dogs, he has the potential to live harmoniously with a calm and respectful dog, especially with slow introductions. Patience is key, as he’ll thrive in an environment where he feels safe and secure.
🐈Cats:
Sarge is okay around cats as long as they give him some space. He’d prefer to coexist peacefully and not feel overwhelmed.
👦🏻Children:
Sarge could live with dog savvy older children who are regularly around dogs and can be respectful of his space.
😨Fears:
Sarge is a little nervous around people, so he will need some time to adjust to new faces. He’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give him the space and love he needs to build his confidence.
💕Behavioural issues:
Due to Sarge’s nerves, he can be leash reactive when on walks. He can also be initially distrustful and will need an understanding and loving owner to help him come out of his shell. Sarge also resource guards so if homed with another dog should be fed separately.
🩺Health:
Sarge is a healthy boy but does suffer from yeast infections in his ears. He isn’t neutered due to his nervousness. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed and brucellosis tested.

🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter's expense.
