Rubbles has had a rough start being passed around 3 homes. He was kept chained up for the first 5 months of his life, so due to this he does not like his neck overly fussed. He was then rescued by busy family who lived in a flat with no garden who could not give him enough time or space. He then found his last home which he shared with 2 other dogs. He got on very well with one of the dogs but did not get on with the other male in the home so unfortunately has found himself here.
He is a typical chihuahua who always barks first. He would need lots of socialising with other dogs again to help him overcome this. Due to him being passed around and not being walked much recently he would also need socialising with people as at first he can be fearful. He does not like postmen and can be wary of new men he does not know. He must be the only pet in the home with no children.
Rubbles loves to play with toys especially balls and will happily play for hours. He doesn't always like to share with people he doesn't know so would need an owner who will respect his boundaries until he trusts you. He can be very affectionate but like a typical chihuahua he has to get to know you first.
Rubbles has lots of energy and needs lots of walks, not only for exercise but for mental stimulation too. He will need an active owner who can give him the stability he so desperately needs in his forever home.
