Winnie sadly came into our care through no fault of her own after her owner was evicted from their property.
Winnie is a gorgeous girl who is finding kennel life a little overwhelming at the moment. Once she gets to know you, she is a big cuddly baby who loves affection and companionship. She has some adorable quirks, including carrying socks around with her and enjoying the occasional cheeky custard cream as a special treat.
Sadly, Winnie was attacked by another dog in the past, which caused damage to her coat. As a result, some of her fur struggles to grow back properly. Fortunately, this experience has not affected her lovely nature, and she remains friendly and sociable with other dogs.
Winnie could happily live with a calm male dog and has previously lived with children. However, now that she is a little older, she would prefer a quieter home with older, sensible children who can respect her space.
As a Chow Chow, Winnie has the charming and independent traits that make the breed so special, so a home with someone who understands and appreciates Chow Chow personalities would be ideal. In return, Winnie will make a wonderful, loyal companion and a much-loved member of the family.
