Nancy has sadly come into our care after her owner was admitted to hospital and will be unable to return home for the foreseeable future.
She is currently finding kennel life very stressful and unsettling, and understandably feels confused by all the recent changes in her life. However, once Nancy begins to feel safe and settles into her surroundings, she is a wonderfully affectionate girl who loves being around people and enjoys human company.
Nancy's previous owner was unable to take her out very often, so she has had limited opportunities to explore the world and socialise. Because of this, she is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can help build her confidence, introduce her to new experiences at her own pace, and continue her socialisation.
Nancy is friendly with other dogs and has shown no issues around them; she has simply not had much recent exposure to them. With gentle guidance and positive experiences, we are confident she will continue to grow in confidence. Nancy would also love someone home most of the day.
