Our eyesight can sometimes play tricks on us. But not always… and in this video you are about to watch, we are wondering if this cat looks more like a chameleon than a feline.

This cute pearl-grey feline is a pro in camouflage, and just to please its ego you have to pretend that it is impossible for you to see him. On this note, we ask again: can you see the cat on this carpet?

The master of disguise is called KC and she is a Selkirk rex cat.

Who is KC?

KC lives with Laura, in Muncy, Pennsylvania. KC loves to roll around and rub herself on the carpet in the house. When she does, she almost completely disappears. Her fur blends in perfectly well with the mat.

Laura explained: "KC looks so much like the carpet, it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. I didn't realise the resemblance until one day, sitting in the living room, the cat was rolling around on the carpet. I couldn't believe how much they looked alike".

Typical of cats, we suspect that when KC is on the carpet, she ignores any kind of call and plays hide and seek instead.

However, when food is involved, the kitty does show herself: "She begs at the table and takes anything that falls from the plate," says Laura, referring to KC.

"KC waits at our feet until we get up to steal food and drink. She doesn't like to be caught and lets you know it, but she loves attention", the American concludes.

Where is KC?

Now that you know a little bit more about KC, will you be able to find her on the carpet? Look closely, she’s not easy to find.

So? Can you see the feline moving?
